FIFA 21: FUT 21’s Team Of The Year

Let us start with this year’s goalkeeper. Bayern Munich’s Manuel Neuer has received the most votes for this position. He had an impressive season with his club, wining the Champion’s League and the German Bundesliga with performances worthy of the best goalkeepers.

The TOTY came with four defenders. Trent Alexander-Arnold performance, last season with Liverpool has been praised worldwide and it is only natural that he made it to the TOTY after winning the Premier League title. The second defender on or list is Alexander-Arnold’s teammate with Liverpool Virgil van Dijk, who had an equally impressive year despite an injury. Next, we have Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos who won the Spanish La Liga after a difficult year. Lastly, we have the second Bayern Munich player of the team and not the last, Alphonso Davies. Davies has been one of the leading forces behind his team’s success in Germany as well as in Europe.

Concerning the midfielders, we start our list with another player from Bayern Munich. Joshua Kimmich has been an absolute monster at his position during 2020 cementing is position in the TOTY. Next, we have Kevin De Bruyne who did not win any major trophy in 2020 but made an incredible number of assists for his teammates. The last midfielder of the TOTY is Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes. He has been at the top of his form in 2020, winning the FUT 21 POTM title for two consecutive months.

Let us finish with the forwards; the TOTY has three strikers this year. PSG’s Kylian Mbappe was instrumental in his teams’ title in Ligue 1 and its second place in the Champion’s League. Secondly, we have the last Bayern’s player of this list and arguably the most impressive. Robert Lewandowski has been an absolute monster in 2020 and has started the new season in a great form. Our last TOTY player is Cristiano Ronaldo who recently became the highest goalscorer in football’s history and continues breaking new records.
